API Mondays 2/5 – Native Pollinators

7 août 2017 @ 18 h 00 min - 20 h 00 min

$10 à $15

Not just the honeybee is important to maintaining biodiversity. In Québec we find dozens of native species of bee which are all pollination specialists though, less well known. Like the honeybee, they need flowers to forage and to feed themselves. During this workshop given by Marc Sardi, urban biodiversity specialist, you will learn to identify the most common species and how to provide them with habitats which promote their survival. The activity consists of an theoritical presentation accompanied  by images and discussions.
