Advanced Beekeeping

Miel Montréal is offering a series of advanced level conferences in order to introduce you to alternative apicultural techniques, to deepen your knowledge of beekeeping and to develop fundamental skills to maintain urban biodiversity.

These workshops, led by experts from the various themes covered, are offered on Mondays afternoon (2-5pm) at L'Esplanade (6750 Avenue de l'Esplanade, bureau 102, Montréal, QC H2V 4M1). These workshops are held in French. Fluency is required to participate.

  • May 18th : Pathogens and treatments - registrations closed
  • June 22nd : Natural beekeeping and "Ruche Espoir" - information and registrations here
  • August 10th (from 9am to 12am) : Bee-friendly gardening - information and registrations soon available
  • August 10th (from 1pm to 4pm) : Local pollinators - information and registrations soon available
  • August 24th : Api-therapy - information and registrations soon available


Note: Advanced Beekeeping is primarily aimed at people who already have a solid knowledge in the field.
