For the second year in a row, Miel Montreal is offering a summer-long urban apiculture training combining a theoretical and practical approach. In the style of an Apiary School, this training aims to empower participants in the practice of organic beekeeping in the urban context, as well as to stimulate critical thinking on the various issues related to beekeeping.

The course is divided into three blocks :

Emile, referent beekeeper

Sweet, patient but also demanding and vigilant, Emile makes sure to lead students and hives towards success, ie towards a healthy development, respectful of the well-being of each one.

He passes on his passion for beekeeping, both urban and rural, through the "Summer Hive School" and accompanies throughout the year the other beekeepers involved with Miel Montreal and our customers.

Emile had the chance to take care of apiaries in the Magdalen Islands! He began collaborating with Miel Montreal in 2015. In parallel with beekeeping, Emile studies sociology.
